Power Outages in Eastern US.

Man this is downright crazy! The power went out around 4PM EDT here. However after about 45 minutes or so it came back up. Turned on news only to find out it was most of the Eastern US and Canada! Cities just a few minutes north or me are out as are most big ones to the East.

It's pretty easy to tell as new grids are being brought online becuase the power dims here every half hour or so. Lucky no spikes have killed us yet. I feel sorry for those folks living in the big cities now. Mass transit down, stuck in elevators, etc. Must be hell.

I think it's funny how right now everyone is being nice and friendly but if the power isn't up by dark I'm sure cities like New York will turn to riots and looting really fast!

So where were you when the power went out? I was at home watching TV!
