National Do Not Call List Goes Live

Tomarrow is the big day. The National Do Not Call List goes live!

Shortly after I'll be putting my phone number on the list along with millions of other americans. This could be the start of a new trend of people taking back control of their lives and services. I belive honestly this will be the start of the end of tele-marketing. It will no longer be profitable for companies to hire tele-marketing firms and as a result you'll see them dissapear.

However there could be a backlash from this. Most of these tele-marketing firms will not just die. Many might move to online advertising, aka SPAM! I have no doubt that you will find new spammers showing up from the tele-marketing industry.

We'll just have to see I guess...
