I have a famous girlfriend!
Phbbbbt… My girlfriend is famous and yours isn’t!
My girlfriend makes and sells bags online. Long story short she emailed the editors at Elle Girl and told about her website. They liked her stuff and asked her to send in a few samples, which she did. So they did a little mini section on her in this month’s edition. I’m not sure on the distribution numbers for the magazine but I’m sure thousands of readers are seeing her work and hopefully many of them will want to buy the bags.
I’m really happy for my girlfriend. She recently was rejected from FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology), which is part of The State University of New York. It was a major blow not to get accepted. Everyone though she, pardon the expression, had it in the bag.
So, It’s great to see her get some public exposure in a big print magazine like this. It’s definitely a good emotional booster and makes her feel good again.
