Bought My First Gun Today
I'm proud to announce that today I bought my first gun. My family has always had guns and we shoot them but today it was I who filled out the paperwork and bought it in my name. It's sort of a surreal experience the first time you do it. Probably up there with buying your first car or house. You are amazed that anyone could believe you have reached a level of maturity to be trust with such an awesome responsibility. Anyhow enough of my usual ramblings. Went up to the local Gander Mountain and bought a Ruger 10/22 Rimfire Autoloading Rifle.

- 10 round magazine
It's a semi-auto 22 LR caliber so it's not a powerhouse by any means. It's great for plinking at targets and that's what it was bought for. Hopefully we can get out to a range soon and give it a real workout to see how well it shoots.
