Started watching Breaking Bad the other day. Little slow at first but it gets really good. Bryan Cranston turns into one serious badass :)

FreeBSD QuickSheets

bsd_daemon.gif

I noticed in the logs that several people were doing searches for FreeBSD QuickSheets. Since I have never posted about it before I can only assume you found someone talking about it on a forum someplace. So here is a post for you to find doing a search. Right now I only have the 1 sheet. Hopefully I'll get around to writing another one during the winter break. Feel free to make suggestions for new sheets below in the comments.

I've created an official page that you can see on the local pages links on the left side back on the front page. However here is the current list below as well.

- - FreeBSD QuickSheets - -
Sheet #1:
Installing and Configuring CVSUP and PORTUPGRADE to update the Ports Tree and FreeBSD source code.

Is there anyone out there?

Saw link to this article on CNN about abandoned sites on the internet.

It talks about all the old and abandoned sites on the net. It makes a short blurb about blogs. There have been several studies lately about blogs that don't get updated. The kind that post maybe 1 or two times then never do anything again.

Hopefully I'll never let that happen here. Of course I don't know if anyone beyond a few friends actually read this. So for all my reader(s) out there. Please post a comment for me! Just say hello and let me know that there are people out there!

Not like I care too much though, this is more for my own personal needs to vent and express than any want to make change in the world or have my voice heard.

Been playing Diablo2 all weekend

Well I finally gained enough willpower to step out of the world of Diablo 2 for a while. Been playing all day yesterday and today on Battle.net. The new ladder is very hard to play.

I have a level 21 Necromancer and just finally got to act 3 (out of 5) in normal difficulty. I have to hand it to the guys at Blizzard. They sure did a good job with the new patch. The game is a lot more tough to play. Which to some may sound bad but to fans of the game it's great!

It's not uncommon for a player in a single day to play through all 3 difficulties (normal, nightmare, hell) and be level 50+. Spend another week or so doing level up runs in certain areas and you can have a level 80-90 character. It just go so easy to create high level characters that people quit playing the actual game. It became more about trading and obtaining all the most sought after weapons and items.

So anyways with the new patch the ability to rush through and make a high level character is almost completely removed. People have to actually play the game again and it's great!

Oh no! Some friends just IMed me and asked if I wanted to play till we get to act 4. I Guess I have nothing else to do!

I'm so weak!
